Biography

Warren Daniel Zaffuto has a broad range of legal experience.  He is a previous federal law clerk for both U.S. District and Magistrate Court judges. He has worked with large national and small local firms in the South Florida since he began his legal career.

Mr. Zaffuto’s practice focuses on employment disputes under both federal and Florida law, including employment-related tort claims and complex injunction proceedings involving unfair trade practices, noncompetition agreements/restrictive covenants, and misappropriation of trade secrets.

After working as a defense attorney for most of his career, Mr. Zaffuto saw the need of employees to retain exceptional representation against employers with endless resources. Mr. Zaffuto decided to “switch sides” to protect the rights of employees. He now helps employees in need, wrongly subjected to discrimination and sexual harassment.

Mr. Zaffuto’s experience affords him the knowledge necessary to determine violations of federal and state anti-discrimination laws. His experiences allow him the ability to counsel his clients regarding what to anticipate from the other side, helping. them stay one step ahead of the defense.

In addition to his employer defense experience, Mr. Zaffuto has worked on matters involving noncompetition agreements/restrictive covenants.  The laws governing non-compete agreements and restraints of trade are complex.  Mr. Zaffuto has experience litigating non-compete cases and helps his clients when employers attempt to enforce unfair non-compete agreements.

Mr. Zaffuto spent a year abroad in college studying in Belgium and Germany. He was also a high school foreign exchange student in Holland.

In his free time, Mr. Zaffuto enjoys boating and is an avid angler.
