Biographical Info

Erik is an experienced attorney licensed to practice in Florida, New York, and New Jersey. He
earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School and holds a Bachelor of Science in
Organizational Management, summa cum laude, from Manhattan University.

Erik began his career in public service, including in the U.S. Air Force as an Airborne Warning
and Control System (AWACS) radar specialist. He later served with the New York City Police
Department, where he held multiple roles within the Legal Bureau, ultimately becoming the
Commanding Officer of the Civil Litigation Unit. In that capacity, he acted as the primary liaison
between the NYPD and the New York City Corporation Counsel in assisting with the defense of
civil rights claims.

After relocating to Florida, Erik served as a Division Lead Prosecuting Attorney the Florida State
Attorney’s Office in Palm Beach County’s 15th Judicial Circuit, where he handled criminal
prosecutions and conducted trials. He subsequently practiced as a litigation attorney with a New
York firm representing special needs children and their families in securing appropriate
educational services, including ensuring compliance with the right to a Free Appropriate Public
Education.

Erik also brings significant in-house experience, having served as Chief Legal Officer for a
publicly traded logistics and energy company. Erik is a per-diem public arbitrator for FINRA.
His diverse background across government, litigation, and corporate law provides him with a
well-rounded perspective in serving his clients.

Erik and his family now reside in South Florida, where they enjoy the local lifestyle. In his free
time, he is an avid weightlifter and healthy lifestyle practitioner.
