Known as a bulldog inside and outside of the courtroom, W. Gordon Kaupp has been practicing law across the country for over 10 years. Mr. Kaupp currently litigates discrimination, wage and hour, wrongful termination, retaliation, and retirement benefits claims in both individual and class action cases at the Derek Smith Law Group.

Mr. Kaupp boasts an impressive resume of jury trial, bench trial, and appellate experience. Additionally, he has drafted all of the appellate briefs in ten appeals before either the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit or the California Court of Appeals.

In conjunction with legal savvy and knowledge, Mr. Kaupp brings passion and ferocity to each case he handles. He makes a personal connection with every client, crafting individualized strategies for each client’s case.
